Hey everyone, I released a mandatory update for tomorrow's league race.

The new update reverts the clock back to the old way of doing it. This was done because of several people having clock synch issues in online races. This clock only updates twice every second and I left the milliseconds on, so it doesnt quite look as good, but it should be more accurate.

I also included the boat Chris Porten wanted to run tomorrow.

If you have the auto updates turned off using the +noupdate command line parameter, make sure to run the updater from the website in the Game Info section.

Race Info:
Date: Saturday, June 21
Qualifying: 8:00 AM PST
Heat 1: 8:15 AM PST

Heat 3: 8:00 PM PST

If we run out of time for Heat 2 in the morning it will be finished at 8:00pm before Heat 3.

1. Plugin
a. Clock now synchs better with in game clock.

a. Added more of the background to Mission Bay.
b. Added a little sandbar that's on the back straight.

a. Added Cheerios, Updated Sum Mo, Squire, PetSmart, U-3
b. Tried to make Allison sounds louder and a little better.
c. Added Turbine startup sound (works best with auto-clutch off)

Hey everyone,

First off the 5th race of the season has been rescheduled to Monday, May 26th at 6:00pm PST. I just got hired at a new store and they want me to work saturdays, so I'm unable to host the races then. The date and time has been updated on the schedule section of the website.

Secondly I released the 1.0.0.8 update which included a bunch of new boats and boat updates. Removed the man standing on the water in the pits and started to replace the pace car with a boat.

Hey everyone,

New update, the main things in the update is the re-shaped vintage hull. The current paintjobs still need to be fixed to work properly. The new template will be up in the forum in a couple days.

The other update is I decided to add the 3 mile version of Mission Bay. Although, there never really was a 3 mile version of the course in real life. It should add a little variation to the races.

This update includes a few things, an update to the clock plugin dll to hopefully cure some crashing problems and the Horizon Air boat was added to the 2007 Hydroplanes.

The bigger update, the first release of the Vintage 1950-1970's Hydroplanes was released. I would like that everyone please posts their comments on the physics in the forum.

Scott Przybylski wins the final heat in the 3rd round of the 2008 Season. After having some scary moments in the preliminary heats, Scott managed to snag lane 1 and eventually the win. In 2nd was David Jaques (Season High Points leader), 3rd Craig Montgomery, 4th Greg Adams with an impressive finish from trailer, 5th Brian Montgomery, 6th Jean Philippe Poulin, and 7th Chris Denslow. Both Jean and Chris unfortunately got into a roostertail and went over.

In other news, there will be some vintage hydroplane action in the future!

This update includes:

1. Early version of Cockpit view. There are a few things that are not working correctly at the moment. Mirrors are showing the wrong direction and fuel indicator is not showing up on LCD Display.

Still planning to add many more details to the cockpit, including the steering wheel/rack, floor escape hatch, various buttons/switchs/lights.

I just wanted to get the cockpit out there for some of you guys to try out, let me know if you think it shakes around too much, or have any other suggestions.

2. I made some slight changes to the damage model in an attempt to help fix some of the low FPS issues that still occur when crashing.

3. Updated the U-61, U-64, and U-69.
